Nottingham Music Label Aiming to Spread Festive Cheer this Christmas
A Nottingham music label, GBM Music, has released a brand new Christmas EP, reinterpreting seasonal classics into electronic anthems – with all profits raised to be donated to Framework, a charity helping the homeless.
Featuring soaring synths, sparkling melodies and thumping beats, the EP is designed to offer listeners something different to add to the Christmas playlist this year.
With reinterpretations of the classics, Silent Night, Jingle Bells, We Wish You a Merry Christmas and O Christmas Tree, the new EP sounds just as good on the dance-floor as it does around the Christmas dinner table.
All profits from sales will be given to Framework, a charity helping the homeless in Nottinghamshire, Lincolnshire and Derbyshire.
Alistair Webster, founder of GBM Music, said: “Framework do amazing work helping the homeless, and we wanted to do a little something to support them, even in a small way, this Christmas.
“We love this time of year, but there’s nothing worse than hearing the same four songs every time you leave the house. So we decided to make something a little different. We’ve put a fun twist on some Christmas classics, and we hope the EP will manage to raise a little money for a very worthy cause this Christmas.”
